Couple looking for a budget stay

Being an older motel, the rooms are in surprisingly decent condition! the exterior is clean but aged, and the staff was very friendly when we got there.

Not cheap but acceptable for what we needed.

This place was an excellent fit for a quick weekend visit in Laurie with good price-value balance. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities needed, which made it quite comfortable. Make sure to check the heating system before settling in, though.

The room was extremely dated and uncomfortable. There was no bath mat, making the shower dangerously slippery. Additionally, I was disappointed by the lack of on-site management for assistance during our stay.

We had an amazing time enjoying the nearby cruise boat rides. The kids loved splashing in the pool, and the cozy atmosphere made our stay delightful. The room was spacious, allowing the kids to play around safely.

In my wife’s opinion, the bathroom could use a non-slip mat to make it safer for kids.

I had a pleasant one-night stay in a Superior Quadruple Room. The young man at the front desk was exceptionally friendly, making check-in a breeze and adding a personal touch to my experience. The cleanliness of the room was commendable, and I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, but I noticed the beds could use some upgrading as they felt a bit saggy.

If you're a food lover, you can't miss Chances R, just a hop away. Their risotto is a game changer! Plus, the friendly guy at the front desk kept things cheerful, making the stay sweeter. The picnic area outside is perfect to unwind after a day of culinary explorations.

Now, about the not-so-sweet stuff, we hoped for breakfast but missed out, and the room wasn't as booked. We also couldn't bring our dog along, which was a bummer.
